The issue of separate audio & video has been raised a number of times before. You can
take a look over here to find some discussion of it, with references to other threads
that contain more detail:

Do a string search for "video without audio" or "audio without video" in there. Then
click the links you'll find & do some (actually, a very great deal of) reading.
I picked one video on your web site & tried to download it. Normally, on sites like
this, one of the variants in the VDH menu will be the video without the audio & another
variant will be the audio without the video. You would then download the 2 variants as 2
separate VDH operations. In this case, I did manage to find a variant for the video
without audio way down near the bottom of the VDH menu. It's a very long menu that keeps
growing because this site is larded down with ads & each ad apparently adds another
variant to the VDH menu. The ads keep popping up so the VDH menu keeps growing. Very
annoying. In any case, there was a multitude of variants in the VDH menu marked "Audio
only." I randomly selected about 6 or 8 of them but they all failed to download. VDH
generated an error about being unable to get the information about what I thought would
be files that were audio without video.
I finally gave up & went to my alternative method. You can find that in the Table of
Contents thread by searching on "cannot download" & clicking the link there. The short
story is that there is a plain old manifest here. It is even quite a bit less complex
than most I encounter. I was able to download this randomly selected video with its
audio using ffmpeg directly. I would post the URL but it contains some text that I
believe would get my post censored. We've had enough trouble with unjustifiable
censorship of this forum lately so I don't want to do anything that would cause
justifiable censorship. Who knows how long we'd lose our forum for this time.
So the first answer is that if you are diligent & motivated, you can download content
from this site. But you'll have to learn how to use ffmpeg instead of VDH by following
the instructions I refer to above.
The second answer is actually a question. This site does provide plain old m3u8
manifests. These are manifests of the kind that VDH normally handles without a problem.
Why didn't it work here? As far as I can tell, it should have. Maybe it did. The
problem is that there are so many ads cluttering up the VDH menu, I can't say with any
certainty that there was no variant hiding in there that would have done the trick. But
that variant was not at the top of the menu nor was it at the bottom. Those would be the
only 2 places VDH should have put the variant that would have included both video &
audio. I repeat. VDH should have provided a single variant consisting of both video &
audio & it did not. I did find one variant of video without audio but as far as I can
tell, that should have been video with audio. At the least, it should have found
something to generate a variant on the menu that would have been the audio without the
video. I couldn't find it. I won't say 100% it was not there. But it wasn't at the top
& it wasn't at the bottom. The handful of other variants I tried simply failed to
download. So I don't know why VDH can't deal with this site. It certainly looks like it
should.
