So, I have noticed a recent issue when downloading content fro OnlyFans, and this issue seems more related to specific accounts, and not towards all content found on OF. It has been limited to two videos specifically so far, but given how support for twitter has been non-existent since their re-boot in 2020

Example of twitter video failure here:
Error: MP2T - no data received

...I am worried that OF will face the same fate, even if the issue is slightly different. In the OF case, it downloads fine, and even has the majority of the metadata intact, and occupies the full space denoted in the download. However- aside from showing the time stamp information, when the video is played, there is no sound, and obviously no video. No error codes or anything, but that's the situation, and unlike twitter, it's hard to find an alternative method to obtain the videos in a playable form.

The URL is helpful, but a proper problem report would be more helpful. To learn how to
post a proper problem report, click here:

Be sure you carefully read the first 2 paragraphs there. Once you have read that, you
can check out the references within that web page that I am about to give you. But don't
just find the relevant link & click it. READ the context around the link. I recommend
you bookmark that link & read the entire page, if not now, if not in one sitting, bit by
bit over time.

You find a reference on that web page by searching the text of that page using various
search keys. The search keys I am suggesting are these:

problem report
evasive maneuvers
stealth quote
short tutorial

Next, look for "problem report" within the text of that web page. That will give you a
link. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice. It's not good enough to just
name a web site. Help those who would help you by specifying URLs of particular web
pages on which you are finding content that you are having trouble downloading. I know
I'm not about to scrounge around on some site I've never heard of to see if maybe I can
find something that does or does not work. Make it easy for me to help you. I know OF
is mostly behind a paywall. It's kind of the purpose of the site. Plus, a large
percentage of its content is distinctly NSFW. So those 2 factors together are going to
hinder folks here from helping you much, unless you accidentally come across somebody
here who has subscribed to the particular performer whose content you'd like to download.
You might post screenshots of what you are trying to do & maybe you'll get some useful
help here. I'm not subscribed to anything on OF so I don't know if that content is
protected by DRM. There's another reference you should look for on the web page. Look
for "drm" within the text of that page. There are multiple occurrences of "drm" there,
so don't just stop on the first one.

Next, look for "evasive maneuvers" within the text of that web page. Be sure you read
the entire post where you find that search string. That reference will give you a link.
Click that, read what you find, & see if any of what's there is helpful.

Next, look for "stealth quote" within the text of that web page. That will give you
another link to click. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice, not just for
your posts in this thread, not just for your posts in this forum, but for your posts
anywhere on Google Groups.

Next, look for "short tutorial" within the text of that web page. That explains why your
response here will use the Reply all button. It also explains why you will NOT use the
Reply to author button.

Twitter has posed problems for lots of people. You can search this forum using "twitter"
as your search key. You might turn up something helpful.

I'll chime in with additional info because i've seen similar behavior.

On MacOS, the files that show up look like they are "Protected MP4" files, that can only be read with QuickTime (although they *can't* actually be read with QuickTime [see attachment], presumably because QT doesn't have whatever keys OF is using included in their default set).
  • MacOS 13.3.1(a)
  • Firefox 113.0.1
  • VDH 7.6.6 w/License
  • VdhCoApp 1.6.3
An example URL is https://tinyurl.com/yju6pr6m (as the OP indicated, a couple of her recent videos have this problem, but NOT most other folks -- YET, presumably -- so getting out ahead of this would be awesome).

This issue only happens for DRM-protected videos. OnlyFans have given creators the option of turning on DRM protection for their future media. The downloader works on non-DRM videos however.

How to circumvent that DRM protection, then?

There is no legal way to circumvent Digital Rights Management. DRM exists for the
express purpose of preventing downloads, presumably of copyrighted material. If you
desperately have to have the content, probably your only recourse is a screen recorder.
Do some web searches for such software. Forget about VDH or any other LEGAL software
from cracking DRM protection. It would be ILLEGAL for software to download content
protected by DRM. Recording is a different process & there's nothing anybody can do
about preventing recording. But downloading is something you should simply erase from
your consciousness when it comes to content protected by DRM.
