Companion App won't install

I'm using Microsoft edge. For some reason it no longer recognizes the companion app. I've reinstalled the app several times, but the app does not recognize it.  I've also tried reloading the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. closed and opened Edge.

Could it be a security issue?

Some users reported windows blockages.

Maybe try to add an exception in your Windows defender for the CoApp and see if it changes something.
