I recently purchased a license for Edge to see if the experience is better, so far flawless

Have a Win 7 machine fully Patched and run in user account mode and a Win 10 po 22H2 both VDH 8.0.0.7 FF in both ... within 30 minutes either machine becomes slower then non responsive, this also affects the machines stability and responsiveness till the machine will need a reboot to get FF to work again, just closing FF then re-launching never fixes the problem, Download will often stall or fail part way through, this has become a thing over the last 4 months, have been using VDH in both Chrome and FF in the past.

Am yet to have a single download fail using Edge, nor does the browser slow then become nonresponsive, these symptoms only happen when using FF and only having tabs open for the pages I am downloading from, I use many different sites with the same outcome..

Hi,
You can try to install last beta versions:

Don't you think you might have install something else that could interfere (another addon, a blocker, security tool...)?

thank you, have done on this win10 unit, will do on the win7 laptop especially since Edge is no longer supported on win7, am enjoying the way everything is working well in edge on Windows 10

Have disabled methodically the other extensions, one of which is necessary when forking with some of these sites (Malwarebytes Browser Guard) and no one else here has complained that Malwarebytes products, neither the browser guard or the virus/malware program cause any issues.

The only other extension is "Allow Right Click"

For the record, the problem seems to have been a system problem , all sorts of programs had developed issues, all happened after the Oct win10 2H22 update, had made a system image days before, problems solved until the update re-installed, nowhere near as bad and the one other problem that was problematic after was resolved by using am earlier release.
