Chrome extension toolbar does not show VDH so how can I use it?

I installed Video Download Helper for Chrome and made sure it's enabled, but I don't see the icon in my extension icon toolbar at the top of Chrome, so I'm unable to use the extension.  Why is this happening?  I tried turning off some other extensions to see if maybe I had too many, but that didn't work, nor did restarting Chrome and restarting my computer.  How do I use the extension?  I can use it in Firefox because the icon appears there, but not in Chrome.

sorry I never heard about this issue on Chrome. Do you have access to VDH menu in the contextual menu (right click on a web page)?

did you check it is pinned ?
