I am trying to change or just turn off the keyboard shortcut that activates the main menu.

Currently, on Mac + Chrome, the shortcut (click to see linked post) is CMD+SHIFT+UP by default.
This is a conflict when editing text and using spreadsheet inside chrome (Google Sheet)
I had no choice but to temporarily disable the extension.

Is there an option to disable or change the shortcut? I exhaustively went through the entire settings but couldn't find anything.

Thank you.

Wow, it does actually! Thanks mig. The option is not prominent like the example in the link, it now resides in the pancake button, and I was able to change it (disable it.)
Thank you!

Hey!

The problem still exists for FireFox (62). The default - unchangeable and impossible to turn off - keyboard bindings are not really helpful.

In my case, I can't set another extension's keyboard shortcut and I don't use any shortcuts whatsoever for VDH. There used to be a section to edit the bindings (I recall seeing a screenshot of it today), but sadly it is no more.

Is there any way we could at least turn the keyboard shortcuts off, completely, as a minimum solution?

Not that i know of.

If you are a Firefox expert, you can apply the patches from this bug entry: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1303384 otherwise you can follow the bug to know when the fix will be ready.
