Unable to Download vimeo videos hosted on private website anymore

since last week the video appears as small chunks in huge number.it was working fine a couple of days back. What do i do? do i have to do some setting changes to download such videos.Also the videos which i downloaded a few days back now appear as similar chunks.

Thanks. It looks like MP2T but it is not recognized as such by VDH. I'll investigate on this.

Just a note to mention it has been an issue on my end as well for about three weeks now.
Same idea, I couldn't track the reason but some, not all, of the video links I was accessing (behind passwords) were recognized as chunks by the extension.

I am able to download the same videos with firefox on ubuntu.Luckily haven't faced the problem on linux yet.

i notice that the videos with option AUTO in resolution choice have this issue, when have 360, 720 or other options works fine.

That's what I noticed too Paul. It seems that videos which have the resolution preset to something have the video in 1 file, but those that are set to auto split it into multiple parts (changing the resolution away from auto doesn't fix the issue for those that were already set to auto at the beginning it seems)

I just wanted to say I've noticed this too. Since I have to log into vimeo to view the video I want to download, I so far haven't been able to use other video-download platforms that have you paste a url. Would anyone know of a good alternative to downloadhelper in this case?

I also wanted to note that I was able to download a video where there's an AUTO option using Wondershare's downloader. This downloader requires you to paste in a url so I couldn't figure access the private video using it.

I have been facing the same problem with downloading vimeo videos.
Earlier while downloading such videos they were easily downloadable but now multiple small segments of video can be downloaded rather than the entire video

Right click the required video --> choose view frame source.
It opens the frame source in a new tab-->search for video format.
search for mp4, you would've got it.

I used to use this method for past year but seems its not working anymore

Any ideas?

I think Vimeo now don't list the actual video but segment the video into chunks?

unless I'm doing something wrong?

Vimeo embedded videos are very common and so far, we haven't seen a case where such a video was not detected.
A publicly accessing link would help.
