transfer license from Firefox to Chrome

I just bought a license in Firefox.  I would like to transfer it to Chrome.  How can I do that?

That's not exactly how it works. Click this:

Be sure you carefully read the first 2 paragraphs there. Once you have read that, you
can check out the references within that web page that I am about to give you. But don't
just find the relevant link & click it. READ the context around the link.

Next, look for "philosophy" within the text of that web page. That will give you a link.
Click that to learn all about the VDH license. While you are reading that, you will see
some links to yet other discussions. Be sure to click those links & read those secondary
discussions. They contain important information that will add to your understanding of
the VDH license, what it is, what it does, & what it does not do. You will learn why you
can't just do what you're asking. However, something approximating your request can be
fullfilled. Stay tuned here & you'll hear more from someone who can help you. I can't
help you, & you'll learn why by following the link I gave above.

Next, look for "stealth quote" within the text of that web page. That will give you
another link to click. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice, not just for
your posts in this thread, not just for your posts in this forum, but for your posts
anywhere on Google Groups.

When you respond, use the Reply all button. DO NOT USE the Reply to author button. I do
not respond to anything I receive from Reply to author.

There weren't any paragraphs at that link, just a table of contents.

Right. It's a Table of Contents. You're supposed to look for the things the Table of
Contents points to. It's just like the Table of Contents you've seen in countless paper
books over the course of your lifetime. I even made it easy for you to go directly to
particular entries in the Table of Contents. Read my previous post again. This time,
read it carefully. Find where I told you to do a couple of searches. Do the searches.
Then click the links those searches provide. I didn't believe I would need to spell it
out this explicitly.

Hang on.  I think I've got an answer to your problem.  If you are NOT logged into your Google account & you visit this forum, any thread in this forum -- actually, any thread in any forum on Google Groups -- will look like this:

It is possible to visit this forum without being logged into your Google account.  I do it all the time.  However, if you ARE logged into your Google account, any thread will look like this:

Stupid but true, Google will compress the display of the thread if you're logged on.  In order to actually SEE the thread, something Google apparently believes nobody would want to do, you have to click the control I've indicated in the image above.  Once you click that, poof magic, the content of the thread appears, like this:

I almost never log on here because I normally post here via E-mail.  You can learn how to do that by finding the relevant entry in the Table of Contents, which you should now be able to actually see.  I'll leave it to you to find that reference & learn how to post via E-mail & avoid logging on here.   I had to log on just now to post this.  Not only did I want to collect screenshots to show you, but in order to write a post with alternating text & images like this one, you have to log on.  You can provide posts here with images without logging on, but those images would be attached in a group at the bottom of the post, not interspersed with the text, like I've done here.

Also, since this post contains images, it is extra important that you find my reference on the topic of stealth quotes & follow that advice.
