I just installed the latest version of the add-on and the converter application. Now Firefox always gives me the message: ffmpeg can`t be opened because of a problem. What can I do?

Oh ok. It's a known problem with old versions of Mac OS.

You can either update Mac OS to 10.11 or later, or follow the solution provided by a VDH user: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/pgii72BL6O0/h8WWq2ILCAAJ
