hi,
Yesterday I was using VDH and it worked well. Then I had a Firefox Update (121.01 (64bits))and also had to install a new VdhCoApp (2.0.10)
I am using VDH 8.1.4.0
Now when I try to download from the same website it is just a coin flip. Sometimes it downloads, other times it gets stuck. This also holds up all next downloads and can only be fixed by deleting them all, which is quite a nuisance.
There is a temporary file on my drive for each attempted download. These can only be removed by closing Firefox and then delete these temp-files. Otherwise I get a message it is still in use by fffmpeg.exe and cannot be removed. This is the case even when I have deleted the downloads from the VDH list.
Reading other topics and comments in this group it is clear something is not working properly.
Hopefully you can fix it soon, maybe my comments can help you find the problem.

best

Yeah, you're not the only one hitting this problem. For your file in use issue, you
might be able to do something less drastic than closing all Firefox windows. Reload the
extension instead. How? Click this:

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/BzPLK2YyL-s

Make sure you expand it so the full text of every post in that thread is visible. Read
the first 2 paragraphs. Then look for (Find in Page) "reload the extension" within the
text of that web page. That will give you a link to click. Click it, read what you
find, & follow the advice. See if that unlocks those files you want to delete. Come
back & post about how it goes.

You might get some relief by doing the July 17 step. What's that? I've just done a
search of this forum using "july 17" as my search key. There's a bunch of hits. You
should get meaningful advice from one of the earlier search hits.

Hi,
Can you tell us on which platform you get stuck downloads?
Do you think you have a case that can be reproduced?

Found the reload extension option. Seems to work. Thanks

what do you mean by platform? Windows 10? Not sure about a case. It is not a certain video that always fails. First time it, next time it doesn't
It does seem to be the 2nd video i am trying to download. First one goes fine, second one no result at all

Sorry, I meant the site where your videos don't download properly.
We need to be able to reproduce a problem to investigate it.

This post is on the topic of po rn hub:

I put it up just a couple of days ago. Surely Michel or Paul would enjoy investigating
this more than most other sites.
