Can't install on new mac

I can't install the companion application on my new mac (Mac Studio running Ventura 13.1). The installer (net.downloadhelper.coapp-1.6.3.pkg) complains that it can't ensure that the package does not contain malware. The dmg method does not work (or the terminal line is incorrect for this version).
