HI, will there be an update to support downloading videos from fansly? Many creators from onlyfans are moving there, would be great if videos from subscribed creators could be downloaded.

Hi,

I take note and add it to the list of sites to be investigated. Can't promise an update soon.

Thanks for the feedback.

We need a better problem report than that. To learn how to post a proper problem report,

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/BzPLK2YyL-s

Be sure you carefully read the first 2 paragraphs there. Once you have read that, you
can check out the references within that web page that I am about to give you. But don't
just find the relevant link & click it. READ the context around the link. I recommend
you bookmark that link & read the entire page, if not now, if not in one sitting, bit by
bit over time.

You find a reference on that web page by searching the text of that page using various
search keys. The search keys I am suggesting are these:

problem report
stealth quote
short tutorial
improvised evasive maneuvers
drm

Next, look for "problem report" within the text of that web page. That will give you a
link. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice. It's not good enough to just
name a web site. Help those who would help you by specifying URLs of particular web
pages on which you are finding content that you are having trouble downloading. I know
I'm not about to scrounge around on some site I've never heard of to see if maybe I can
find something that does or does not work. Make it easy for me to help you. Since this
appears to be a site behind a paywall, you will not be posting any URLs since nobody here
(except paying subscribers to the site who just happen to be reading this) will be able
to look at the pages. And nobody here is likely to sign up for the site just to
experiment with it, least of all myself. So you will be forced to post screenshots of
what you do in lieu of posting URLs. Since much of the content on that site is, if I'm
not mistaken, NSFW, you will have to censor your images. To be safe, post the images as
attachments, not inline. This forum got closed down by the Google bots on 2 separate
occasions within recent memory. The alleged reason was that there was some content on
here that violated community standards. We never did find out what exactly the violation
was. We also had all manner of difficulty getting back on the air. So be circumspect in
the extreme with any content you post from there.

Next, look for "stealth quote" within the text of that web page. That will give you
another link to click. Click that, read what you find, & follow the advice, not just for
your posts in this thread, not just for your posts in this forum, but for your posts
anywhere on Google Groups.

Next, look for "short tutorial" within the text of that web page. That explains why your
response here will use the Reply all button. It also explains why you will NOT use the
Reply to author button.

Next, look for "improvised evasive maneuvers" within the text of that web page. That
will give you another link to click. Read what you find there & see if any of the ideas
laid out there are the least bit helpful. Do post back how you get on with this. The
VDH folks may never get around to looking into this. So you need to come up with
creative alternatives. That's what you'll find in there. They may or may not work.
It's up to you to try them. I'm most interested to hear if anything in there is
applicable to that site.

Since it is a pay site & the creators usually want to protect their content (not to
mention they want you to pay for it), you should check whether there is Digital Rights
Management protection in place there. You need to find another reference on that web
page, this time using "drm" as your search key. There are multiple search hits for that
string on that page. So don't just stop on the first one. You'll find instructions for
determining whether the content you are looking at is protected by DRM. Be prepared for
the possibility that some content is protected by DRM & some not.
