I would recommend that you click this:

Read the first 2 paragraphs carefully. After that, I want you to look for a couple of
references on that web page.
First, look for "philosophy" within the text of that web page. That will give you a link
to click. Click that & read what you find. During that reading, you will encounter
links to other discussions. Be sure to navigate to those & read them as well. This
should dispell what appear to be a few misconceptions you have about the VDH license.
For one thing, buying a license will not speed up your downloads. I'm sure you have
others that need to be addressed. Do be sure to read all of that.
Second, look for "stealth quote" within the text of that same web page where you looked
for "philosophy." That will give you another link. Click it & be sure to follow the
advice you will find. That advice applies to any posts you make in this thread, in this
forum, & anywhere in Google Groups.

On the subject of download speed from YouTube, I have posted about that here on numerous
occasions. The problem is not in your Internet connection, nor in your computer, nor in
VDH. The problem is YouTube. In fact, the problem is Google in general, YouTube being
one of Google's many properties. Google mercilessly throttles all downloads from their
sites. From YouTube, Google looks at the duration of the video you want to download.
They carefully calculate what bandwidth usage would make a download last about 50% of the
duration of the video. Then that's all the bandwidth they allocate to your download.
Pay careful attention to several YouTube downloads. You have to pay attention. Write
down what time it is when you click the download button in VDH to launch your download.
Then after the download completes, look at the last modified date/time stamp on the
downloaded file. Subtract the 2 numbers. Do this for the next dozen or so downloads you
do from YouTube. The pattern will quickly emerge. They are wankers.
It's even worse for GMail. The thing is, you won't notice it unless you get an E-mail
that includes some attachment of any substantial size, like 3M or 4M. If it's a regular
old E-mail, that typically won't be but a couple of hundred K. That will be retrieved in
barely any time. But for anything big, while you are retrieving it, take a look at the
Windows Resource Monitor on the Network tab. You will see as I have that Google is
giving you only about 80,000 to 90,000 bytes per second of bandwidth usage. That is
disgusting. That's only barely better than what you used to get in the bad old days of
dialup modems.
Google Drive is just as bad.
So there's no use complaining about download speed from YouTube. There is also no use
looking for a solution in any of your hardware or software. That's the way they operate.
I emphasize, THEY. That's the way they do things. Suck it up. Sad but true. That's
all any of us can do. Suck it up.
