You already did the right thing to revalidate your license so I won't subject you to my
usual spiel. Still, you have to suffer with this much:

I will also tell you that you should learn how to not stealth quote, how to post via
Reply all (NOT Reply to author), & how to post to a single destination WITHOUT rudely
echoing your post to anybody in an E-mail.
Now to the issue at hand. You say "it" says something about browser profiles. What is
"it?" That's not a VDH message I've ever encountered. That doesn't mean it's not a VDH
message, but I'd like to clearly establish the source of that message. What exactly is
complaining about your profiles?
As for failed downloads, c'est la vie. I have discussed the subject of VDH resuming a
failed download from the point of failure with Michel. That is in a thread on here if
you look hard enough. I'm not motivated to do so. It was at least 2 years ago. In any
case, the upshot of the discussion was that VDH can't resume failed downloads from the
point of failure. As you've already figured out, you are forced to scrap the partial
download you already have & start the download over again from the beginning.
That's VDH via the CoApp, which is required for a huge amount of content available on the
web these days. However, if you're using the browser as your download processor in VDH,
there is hope. Read this:

This kind of download probably doesn't really need VDH. The technique I describe in the
thread I've just cited can probably work just as well with a VDH download via the browser
as with a non-VDH download.
That thread also happens to contain a comment from Michel explaining why VDH can't resume
stream downloads.
By the way, you really shouldn't sue your PC, especially since it's new. It might not
take kindly to that sort of abuse. You might end up being very sorry.
