downloadhelper stops downloading

Hi,

As mentioned, download helper stops sometimes downloading MP4 or HLS downloads.

More oftern MP4 than HLS. Conversion isn't needed for the vast majority of the downloads.

If clicking on the downloadhelper icon, it shows a blue circle with the number of downloads, but if checking the downloads there is no progress. Sometimes there is a red circle also.

Restarting firefox is mostly the work a round. It is tedious to start the site again and search for the file(s) to be downloaded. Starting firefox again is not the problem, but why not start the download automaticly again or even continue the download(s)? It would be a lot easier.

Maybe there is a way to only restart downloadhelper only. And then restart or continue downloads.

This problem occurs for a long time. In much earlier versions of firefox on different computers in different sites.

A solution for this would be fine.

English is not my native language. Normaly I can use the right mous button to start the spellchecker. Here it unfornunately does't work. So probably there are spell errors. Sorry.

hi,

it's difficult to analyze general behavior that happen sometimes. If you have an example with a public URL to test it would help.

The problem is that re-downloading works often.

If I encounter this problem again, I wil save the link and contact you again.

Would be nice. If you close your browser (firefox) by accident, you could continue downloading instead of starting over again.
