Video Dowload Helper not working on windows 10

I have a license to run this app on fire fox.  It works (mostly) on my windows 7 machine.  It detects videos on youtube and will down load and save both the audio and video stream into a working video.

On my windows 10 computer, it will detect the video but it will not down load. I click down load and it just sits there.  Both parts of the Video download helper  are updated to the newest version. The companion app is added to the firewall and set to allow.  The windows 10 computer has no other  issues down loading items from other sites (for example when i downloaded  the VDH helper app).  What can i check next. 

Do i need a second license for another computer?

But no, you don't need another license. Given what the license does, it's unlikely the
license affects pretty much any problem, as you will agree if you read what I pointed you
to.

It's pretty hard to say what might be going on here. I'd say you probably have to sit
the 2 computers side by side & go through every single VDH parameter one by one to see if
anything might be different between the 2 systems. Even then, it might not solve the
problem. I don't have W10 so I can't be a whole lot more help here.

you can use your license an all your devices.

Are you sure about your firewall settings ? It is strange it doesn't download what it detects.

Ok, I uninstalled the browser addon and re installed it. It works now on youtube.  Thank you to all that responded... Its food to know i can use my one license ke on a few different devices.
