Lots of videos (HLS) downloaded in parallel abort, vids left incomplete

Hi, when I set VDH to download a bunch of videos in parallel on YogaGlo, a good half of them abort maybe 25% of the way through, leaving the videos incomplete. I set this up overnight, so didn't see any errors in the morning. Streaming from the site appears to be in HLS. Thank you!

Download abruptly stops leaving video incomplete is also happening when trying to download just one video by itself. Vids are 90mins plus. This is very frustrating since I have to try again and again and again.

It’s also taking a very, very long time to attempt each download over a very fast connection. Thanks.

Do you have a public link to a video page where i can see the problem ?

I think any public link will just be a short clip, but I'll take a look. In the meanwhile, an aborted video just returned this error, maybe that helps?

Download does abort before being ready, mostly about 20-40% of full vid
Yesterday start of download from
http://www.ardmediathek.de/tv/Mordkommission-Istanbul/Mordkommission-Istanbul-Die-steinernen/Das-Erste/Video?bcastId=6683938&documentId=49936884
Now, some 25 hours after starting, the vids download shows only 43% ready for many hours, no proceeding - it does not finish 100%
Downloadhelper makes me SAD and angry!!

Hi Mig, I understand you're no doubt busy, but the problem continues, and I'm a premium user. Can you kindly offer your thoughts? Public links are all short vids, and this reproducibly occurs with large vids. With thanks.

Hi Mig, since the 20th of february 2018 many HLS downloads are left incomplete .mp4.part
That did not happen before. What should I do now to recover the incomplete files and to get rid of this download problem ? Please.

I agree with Mig, this URL downloads perfect in VDH,

I even tried other downloaders, no problem downloading.

Maybe it's your low internet speed, high latency and ping?
Causing VDH not able to capture all parts of video?

Sometimes download problems are not all VDH fault.  we have to do our part so Mig can focus on real problems to solve.
