Video Download playback is choppy

I was able to download a stream but the .mp4 file it produced is choppy ...like it's missing some frames. Do you know what the problem is?

If you are playing the video on Mac/QuickTime, this is a known issue. There are 2 workarounds:

1- use another video player like VLC (http://videolan.org/)

2- re-encode the video stream: use VDH converter and pick output format "Re-encoded MP4 (h264/aac)"

Hi!
I don't know if you already solved it... But I have the de same problem, I fixed it converting the "choppy" video with HandBrake... This is the only software that worked for me. I tried using Media Encoder and the converter included with Video DownloadHelper.
