VDH Error

Hello VideoDownloader Helper,

Thank you so much for making this extension. When downloading a school video, I get this error. "HLS Encryption Method Sample-AES is not supported" And it says aborted under. Could you please help me solve this problem please.

Hi JCV, 

Thank you. I'm in M2 Pro Macbook. Firefox, and have successfully installed CoApp.

It's for my schools learning platform. I want to download the video so I am able to watch it on the go. There are a total on three videos, I was able to download 2 videos no problem. First one was by browser and second was also by browser. The third one I get alot of errors and it doesn't download. Could we please schedule a short zoom call so I can buy license and discuss with you please? My number is 6478070381

I do not work for VDH. I'm just another user. But I have some observations..

Version numbers. Version numbers. Version numbers. Jérôme (he does work for VDH) asked
for version numbers. You need to provide version numbers. Operating system version
number, browser version number, VDH version number, CoApp version number. Tell us your
version numbers.

It is my prediction that a Zoom call is not going to happen. I know I would not do such
a thing if I were an employee of VDH. And I'm not willing to do one as a non-employee of
VDH. What we need generally to solve a problem is all the version numbers you have
failed to provide, plus at least one URL of a web page on which there is content you are
having trouble downloading. Look at the home page of this forum. At the top. The part
your eyes usually skip over. Don't skip. Read.

As for buying a license, that can be done online on the VDH web site. There's no need
for a Zoom call or any help from anybody else. But before you buy a license, you should
test drive this product. Let's get to the bottom of the problem you are having before
you buy a license. The license does not unlock features or permit new web sites. VDH
works or does not work exactly the same with or without a license. To learn more about

Expand that so the full text of every post is visible. That is a useful link you should
bookmark. You should read at least the first 2 paragraphs now. As for the rest, you
should read it all, but you could do that bit by bit over time.

On the subject of the license, look for (Find in Page) "philosophy" within the text of
that web page. That will give you a link. Click it & read what you find. Within that
primary discussion you will encounter links to secondary discussions. You need to click
those & read them as well.

So once you have read up on the VDH license, give us a proper problem report & we'll see
what we can get done.
