I visited the web page for the second URL you posted. After launching playback &
stopping it after a couple of seconds, I got what you can see in the attached image.
Looks like no problem. It's over 2 hours long so I'm not about to download that as a
test, especially since it's not content I'm the slightest bit interested in. I did
display the Hit Details for the variant you can see in the attached image. It gave me
the URL of an HLS master manifest. I ran that through ffprobe & got the results you can
see in the attached text file. Looks to me like there's no problem at all here. VDH
looks like it would work fine with this content & so would ffmpeg.
If you closed all Firefox windows, relaunched Firefox, then surfed back to that same
page, I think all you need to do is click the play button on the video again. Just let
it play for a couple of seconds & that should be enough to make VDH recognize the movie.
Just stop playback, then tell VDH to do the download.
