I have downloaded and installed the Companion App (net.downloadhelper.coapp-1.6.3-1_amd64.deb) in my Ubuntu 20.04 OS. But after that Download Helper is still asking me to install it.
I clicked onto recheck, but it's still not recognizing it. It throws back that message:
" Checking companion app returned: Specified native messaging host not found."

I will appreciate any kind of help if there is a way to solve it.

Thanks in Advance!

Hi,
Maybe you can try the new coapp.
You can also read this : https://github.com/aclap-dev/vdhcoapp/blob/master/README.md#troubleshooting
