your operating system :win 11
your browser:Firfox 121.0
VDH version number:8.1.4.0
CoApp version number,:VdhCoApp 2.0.10
one URL of a page containing a video you have a problem with.:https://reurl.cc/WRDyLO

Hello,
I am using VDH to download this video, but I noticed that after downloading, the video and audio are out of sync. The video runs very quickly, and then only the audio continues. I have attached the video link below:
https://reurl.cc/N4qnXn
Do you know what I can do?
Thank you.

I commend your effort to make a proper problem report. But when we say we want a URL of
a page containing the video, we mean we want the page on which we can click the play
button & observe the content ourselves so we can try to download it with VDH ourselves.
That way, we can try to replicate your results. But what you've given us is a URL of a
page that contains a screenshot of the page we really want. We need the URL of the page
whose screenshot you posted on reurl.cc. Something like www.youtube.com/whatever. You
understand? We need access to the content itself, not a picture of the content. At
least your screenshot shows the URL we really needed clearly enough. What you should
have posted was simply this:

https://onlineschool.asiaforjesus.net/course/31/2370/video/1322

When I went to that page, it redirected to the page whose screenshot I have attached
here. Its URL is:

https://onlineschool.asiaforjesus.net/course/31

That sure looks like a prompt for a user ID & password.

I did try to put your original URL into Google Translate but all it told me was that the
original is in Chinese. It wouldn't render the page. I also tried to put the
redirection target page URL into Google Translate & it wouldn't render either.

I'm going to have to go by your description of the problem. It sounds like a perfect
match on this:

Since I can't get into the site, you'll have to do what we describe in that thread. It
is what I expected to try if I could have gotten in there. Do let us know how you get on
with that.

When you reply, use Reply all. DO NOT USE Reply to author. When you are composing your
response, look for the 3 dots. You may have to scroll down to see them. Click the 3
dots, then DELETE ALL THE QUOTED MATERIAL. Before you post, check the address list.
Make sure that there is only one addressee in the list, & that addressee should be this
forum. Delete all other destinations. Your post should go to exactly one destination,
this forum, and nowhere else.

Hello,
This is a course website that requires my registration username and password for login. Are you suggesting that I need to provide them to you to access it? Or is there another method? Additionally, the source of the video is Vimeo, and it is embedded in this course website. Some of the videos inside can be downloaded normally, but there are issues with a portion of them, as I mentioned.
Thank you for your assistance.

Let me be clear. I refuse to use your login credentials. You will have to do what I
would have done if I could have gotten into your web site. What I would have done is
detailed here:

https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/sNfTCMYfiTU

This new detail, that we are talking about embedded Vimeo videos, confirms that the
techniques described in that thread are what is required. It is my understanding that
the VDH devs are working on a version of VDH that will handle Vimeo content. But we have
not been told when that will arrive. So for now, your only recourse is to read that
other thread & do your best to apply the techniques we describe there.

I see you deleted all the quoted material before you posted. Good job! Now you just
have to remember to do that every time you post.

Hi,
Sorry for this, Vimeo issue will be fixed in the next release. A beta might be available next week.

Thank you both. I think I'll wait for the new update and then report back on how it works. Thanks.
