VDH makes its decision about adding the QR code based on conditions in effect at the time
you launch your download. If you registered your license while those downloads were in
flight, that was too late for those downloads. What have you observed on downloads you
have done since then? As for the files that already have QR codes, yes, you have to
download them again now that you have a license. You can read a more complete discussion
of the license over here:
https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/BzPLK2YyL-s
You will probably want to bookmark that for easy reference. I recommend you read that
entire thread, if not now, eventually. As you're reading that thread, you'll come across
a reference to the VDH license. You can skip directly to the reference by doing a string
search on "philosophy" in there. That will show you another link you should click. Read
what you find there & you'll have a clearer understanding of how the license works & why
you need to download your watermarked content again. It's too bad you didn't know all of
that ahead of time. You might not have been so disappointed. As you continue to use
VDH, I'm sure your disappointment will fade. It's a wonderful tool.
