Where to find the downloaded videos ?

Hello ! I used DownloadHelper for the first time today and i installed the companion app. After the download, I got a pop up window saying it was done, but I canno't find the file where the downloaded video is supposed to be (they never asked me where I wanted it downloaded). Do you guys have any clue where to look ? Thanks in advance

It should be in the default directory. Look in your root folder for that computer for Users, then the computer name, then you should see a folder called dwhelper. Your video should be in there.

You can change the location in video downloadhelper, click the 3 ball icon for it in your taskbar. Then click the wheel in the lower right corner. You should get a new window tab about video downloadhelper. Look through there for all your settings. The behavior tab will let  you change the download location.

Welcome to this forum! As a new user, you will probably want to keep this handy:

The first link in there is to a tutorial on how to use VDH, which will show you how to
get VDH to offer you the opportunity to select your own destination for downloads. There
is also a simpler way to find where the most recent download went, much simpler than what
you already did. Go into the VDH Settings, tab to the Behavior section, & look at the
Default download directory. Part of the tutorial shows this page of settings. That
field is always updated automatically by VDH on every download. That is where VDH saved
your most recent download. You can also preset VDH to download into a certain directory
by using the Change button you can see on that option on that page of settings, but it is
easier to use the approach detailed in the tutorial to choose your own download directory
instead of going into the VDH Settings all the time.
