Hi,
just like the title said, i´m having issues downloading some videos
As i can tell, they´re recognized as DASH Stream videos, but as i download
the available option, the resulting file contains audio but the video is not working.

This is a link with a sample video that has the issue i mention:

Maybe there is something that can be done for it to work?
Please let me know, thanks.

Log into dropbox and use the download link in the top right corner.

Out of curiosity and because that video does not play properly through the browser when opening the dropbox page, which in my experience and the way the video played proved to me the source video is corrupted, it had the common faults I've experienced when a screen recording is done on a PC which has problems, commonly video driver or other hardware problems, may not be the case here, but that's the only time I've seen video in this state with the same problem.

I downloaded the video, played it, it played the same way it played in the browser, skipping forward at intervals.

Attempted repair with VodeoRedo v4 ... failed, opened in Handbrake, no video was displayed in the preview meaning the video was unable to be processed.

Contact whoever supplied the video, there's nothing VDH or anyone can do to fix that for you except a new video without faults is supplied.

@Gonzalo, that is the fast video problem associated to videos hosted from Vimeo. There is said to be fix coming soon.
In your case the frame rate from the video at dropbox is over 10000 fps. If you know what the correct frame is you can fix your bad file with ffmpeg. You can find that by going to the embedded Vimeo video.

For finding the frame rate and using ffmpeg, refer to this : https://groups.google.com/g/video-downloadhelper-q-and-a/c/sNfTCMYfiTU

There is a lot to read in there, but look for the posts that show how to get correct fps.

Being an obvious novice, perhaps he'd be better using a tool like "Avidemux"

The presentation timing stamps are missing or corrupted ... Avidemux can normally fix that, I give up when something is broken at that level, normally not worth the effort, the file ends up incomplete.
