Important information regarding Video DownloadHelper beta releases

As translators, most of you are on the beta channel of VDH, i.e versions like 7.1.3a4, 7.1.3a5, ... and not only the public releases, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, ... otherwise, your locale is always one public release late, which means weeks or a month or two.

Mozilla, the editor of Firefox, decided to not support add-on beta channels on their site any more, as they did for many years. We put in place on www.downloadhelper.net a mechanism to distribute and automatically update future betas, however Mozilla did not allow migrating automatically addons.mozilla.org beta users to www.downloadhelper.net beta users.

This means that to keep being updated on new betas, you need to take an action, fortunately only once, and reinstall VDH from this link: https://www.downloadhelper.net/firefox/betas . You don't need to uninstall your previous VDH version from your browser, it will be automatically replaced.

If you don't do anything, you will soon be automatically updated by Firefox to the latest public release and will update on the beta channel.
