How can i download with Chrome Browser and Video DownloadHelper a HLS Stream File?

It doesn't work with Chrome, but it works with FF

With VDH6 on Chrome, you cannot download HLS streams. This will be possible with VDH7 to be released in a few weeks, as well as F4F and DASH streams, file conversion, ...

did google add some new apis recently or something as i remember you saying that google wasn't giving you the info you need to download hls streams?

No, but the next version of VDH for Chrome will have the ability to download HLS by the mean of an external application. It already works pretty well in the lab.
