to Victoria Village Homeowners at Colorado Springs
Andrew,
Thank you for your prompt and candid response. Although I do
appreciate that you are 26 years old, work two jobs and have a family
which by all means should and must take priority, excuse me for being
just a little bit skeptical. We have heard alot of this in the past
from board members that they have to work and have jobs, but honestly
I am not sure if they are using that as a excuse to not get things
done. While I think that you are being very genuine, you have to
understand that we have been told one thing, have had just the
opposite happen and now there is nothing but mistrust left. I am so
glad to see that there is someone young who has an interest in where
he and his family live and wants to bring a new perspective to the
board. It is very rare and refreshing. We have told the board over
and over about what is wrong in Victoria Village and have also made
suggestions as to how things could be changed but unfortunately have
not been heard. When you are under a time crunch of only 15 minutes at
the beginning of each monthly meeting, that really doesn't allow much
time for issues to be brought up and responded to. I know at the last
meeting, I brought up the fact that when the board sent out the
mailing for the vote on the declarations, they wanted a prompt and
speedy response. As I said at last month's meeting....was the board
going to send out a mailing to each and every resident and owner the
result of that vote. I was told yes we could do that. Well, almost a
month has gone by and we haven't received anything; has anyone else? I
know that you did not address the points that I brought up and that is
fine. I just wanted to respond to your posting so that others who
read this website can see that there are other homeowners who are
concerned and in many ways are on the same page as they are. I
appreciate the fact that you are willing to meet and speak with us
about our concerns especially when I know that family time is
precious and there never seems to be enough of it. You have given us
a glimmer of hope that perhaps someone on the board has an objective
view on things. Thank you for your time.
