Ray,

Well, Wayne came home and told me that you said Kerry said I was never in contact with him when I was back in N. Y. while my mom was so ill and dying.  I have fowarded messages that I retrieved from my e-mail showing that I was in contact and blowing your whole theory of that when people go away they should be able to store their vehicles.  I am sure that when I e-mail Kerry telling him what you said about never hearing from me he will be really thrilled.  I resent the fact that you would think that even while being in such an emotional and difficult time that I would be so irresponsible as to not let someone know what was going on.

Janet and all,
As we mentioned before, this website was set up to allow the community
to share thoughts and ideas. It is not to publicize personal rifts
and condemnations between neighbors or to verbally assault others
from behind the safety of your computer. Personal issues should be
handled with respectable personal contact. However, if you feel a
need to publicize your concerns, do it at the monthly board
meetings .

I debated a bit whether to send this or not, given the fact that we
have sold our unit and not longer belong to the VV community.
However, for that very reason I felt the need to respond.  During the
sales process and recently since then, several people have asked me
how the VV neighborhood really is because they have looked at the
messages on this discussion group. My response is that many of the
contentious messages were fueled by heated opinions during the battle
over the covenants rewrite. However, I assured them that since that
issue is resolved, and with several new members on the board, that I
believe the neighborhood will return to the close-knit community it
used to be.

Just wanted to let you all know that potential buyers are looking at
all of this information in deciding if VV is a welcoming and safe
community to live in. Some very good people may be deterred from
purchasing after reading the animosity in some of these messages if
they perceive this is the nature of the entire community rather than
that of a few individuals.  This will have direct impact on the
nature of new owners as well as on overall property values. For the
sake of the community, I urge the few of you with these contentious
relations to work together to personally resolve them so Victoria
Village can remain the friendly and secure neighborhood where we
purchased a home nearly 15 years ago.

With that I will say "adieu" and wish you all the best now and in the
years to come. --- Sharon Younie
