to Victoria Village Homeowners at Colorado Springs
Harking back to Sharon Younie's 04/18 posting re the strange
presentation by Iwan B. at the April meeting. He did a rendition
of......."Dredge Up the Old Times"......unfortunately not in song but
droned on and on about......'Marcia Fields'....until an owner signaled
the president, like....."What IS this?....Why is he going over years
past?.....What does it have to do with Now"?......and she instructed
him to quickly close it up. Seems my turn for his ire came after
he'd scolded the treasurer over the finances. His "performance" was
flatter than a week-old opened can of beer. It's purpose? Some
cooked-up goulash to try and intimidate me before I got into
questioning his longtime buddy-bud, Rick Poole, over last year's
financial tricks. Finally the segment for some deadly serious
questions followed.
I have one here......How did Mr. Biereichel vote on the Declaration's
revision last year? For?.....Against?.......Not at all? Course he
was free to decide whichever way he wanted but IF he consented (betcha
did so), then how hypocritical to now wail about the costs incurred!
And where was HIS voice when other owners wanted the board to S-L-O-
W D-O-W-N and let us present questions and issues involving the cost
at open meetings before they plunged ahead with subsequent
decisions? Nowhere to be heard.
In order to divert attention away from the board's responsibility for
the money wasted, a scapegoat is needed. Guess who?! Go back to my
March 12, 2012 letter to the board put on this forum in its entirety
holding them accountable for violating CCIOA and acting as if they had
a Blank Check to keep pushing for court ratification of the
Declaration revision in a vacuum. I was vocal all along to STOP the
spending on what I kept arguing was a bad product in many ways and
fought its ratification by a successful objection. But those who have
nothing more to use than attacks on the messenger figure the bigger
the Lies, at least a few will swallow them.
The next scheduled Third Tuesday Theater is May 15th. Don't miss it.
