Aren’t you all excited to get down to mingle with likeminded people to support
a coalition government – stop the status quo and stand up for “Change” - Yes, we can!

This message has also been sent to some across Canada in the hope that in their own neighbourhood
similar events may be organized.

This one put on the top:
Tonight, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., Canadians for a Progressive Coalition are asking everyone who supports the coalition idea, which offers hope for Canada, to light a candle in front of a street-facing window and turn off the light in the room for 20 minutes (being careful to keep the candle away from anything that can catch fire...)

Victoria, BC

Subject: TOMORROW: Coalition rallies in B.C.

Dear friends, allies and supporters of the coalition idea,

I'm forwarding a notice of two important rallies in B.C. in support of a coalition government for Canada. You'll find a full list of rallies planned for across the country at Canadians for a Progressive Coalition
http://www.progressivecoalition.ca/regional.php Please make every effort to attend one in your area, bring a sign — and in Victoria, a candle — expressing how you feel and please forward this notice as widely as possible!

Victoria, B.C.
Thursday, December 4, 2008, 5 p.m.
"Candles for a Coalition"
Hillside and Douglas Street

Vancouver, B.C.
Thursday, December 4, 2008, doors open @ 5 p.m.
Speakers @ 6 p.m.
Vancouver Trade & Convention Centre
Ballroom “A”

There are also anti-coalition, pro-Harper rallies in the works organized by right-wing blogger Stephen Taylor, who works for the Manning Centre. One is set for Vancouver this Saturday, December 6, 2008, Library Square, 12 noon. Others, for across Canada, are posted at http://www.rallyforcanada.ca/ Please do come down to this event as well, and bring your sign, to counter the anti-coalition lies and attacks on the opposition parties coming at Canadians at a furious pace!

Let's all do so and let's all participate in the rallies!

P.S.
Also, please view and FORWARD, to as many people as possible, this very entertaining and highly informative video (slightly over 3 min.)  about the rationale for the coalition. Kudos to the two young Canadians from Victoria who are able to translate the rationale for the coalition into simple visuals, easy to take in by people of all ages!
