Dear Dancers,
Based on your earlier feedback, I am continuing to work on securing a location in Denver for our Regency Ball. Sadly, the Brown Palace on March 3 is not working out as planned. Beautiful, historic locations on Saturday nights are very expensive, so I’m working on a beautiful, historic location on a Sunday afternoon instead. If this proposal is not acceptable for many of you, I will search for a simpler, cheaper location likely in Fort Collins or Wyoming instead, or possibly a smaller, simpler location in Denver.
Please reply and let me know how many of you would commit to attend this event, so I know if I should contract with the venue and caterer. Please read all details below carefully.
Please respond to RSVP, or to share any thoughts, comments, or suggestions.
You can email me at Eve...@rivercrossinginc.com; do not just hit “Reply” or it will bounce back to you.
Thank you! I appreciate your support and feedback.
Sincerely,
Sharon Guli

LEWIS & CLARK REGENCY BALL
Sunday afternoon
March 4, 2012
Catered Luncheon followed by three hours of Dancing
from the era of Jane Austen (late 1700’s – early 1800’s)
(Live music by the Grandview Victorian Orchestra if enough sign up;
otherwise, wonderful period-correct recorded music)
Proposed Location:
The Baerrensen Rooms
at the incredible and historic
Sherman Street Event Center, downtown Denver, built in 1906
1770 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203
(Don’t let the pillars frighten you – we have plenty of dance space!)
The dance floor space is smooth linoleum over wood – no carpet, no concrete!
Cost is still being calculated, but will likely come
between $49 - $59 per person, including luncheon.
