A Friendly Reminder about tomorrow (Saturday) night’s dance in Laramie! No refreshments are provided, so feel free to bring some if you like. There’s usually between 70 – 90 dancers. If everyone brought something (a bag of chips, pretzels, cookies, brownies, etc.), there’d be plenty to go around. No obligation – just some of you had asked. Thanks!

 

Thank you, dancers, for your continued support of these fun quarterly dances in Laramie, Wyoming. The large dance hall has a beautiful wooden floor and lots of character. Help spread the word! Lively Square Dances, Mixers, Reels, Waltzes, and more!

 

Re-capture the feel of “days gone by” when you join Sharon Guli as she teaches dances

such as the Virginia Reel, the Gie Gordon, square dances and quadrilles, and the Spanish Waltz. Sharon has been researching and teaching old-time dance for over 15 years, and she specializes in adapting historic dances for modern-day folks.

What to wear:  Blue jeans, modern apparel, cowboy clothes, calico dresses – anything that you can dance comfortably in. Dress the part if you want, or just come as you are.
