Chrome Extensions

It seems this group is not too active but I thought I would share my
latest side project anyway. I created a Gmail Notes extension for
Google Chrome. Creating the extension was pretty straightforward. Good
documentation and an active dev group are big bonuses. The API is
changing regularly so I expect I'll have to make emergency fixes to
the extension over the next few weeks/months. The goofiest thing about
extensions is the message passing (done through function callbacks)
that has to be done in order to get all the various scripts of an
extension to talk to each other. I suppose this is necessary given
that each web page and Chrome's UI are running in separate processes,
making it difficult to make direct function calls like a script
running is a single thread does. Not really a big deal either - just a
quirk.

Also, my family and I will be returning to Victoria in March (a little
earlier than expected) and I am starting to look into job
