We recently had an exchange about labs for processing 4X5 (and
larger) colour. I have had some E-6 and C-41 to do lately and I sent
it to ABC, who did both. The prices are quite reasonable; it is not
quick however, and I imagine they wait until they have a decent
amount of it to do before mixing chemicals.

I was in Camera Traders a few days ago, and picked up a Kodak 4x5 hard rubber tank, as I needed one. They still had two more, so if anyone has a need for one or two, they're likely still there.

I have been using The Lab in Vancouver for eighteen months or so. I send my personal 4"x5" E-6 as well as clients' 135 and 120 C-41, B&W, E-6. I can't speak for turnaround on dropped off orders as all my stuff is mailed. They seem to process everything I send promptly once received. I usually have orders back in under a week including shipping via post (not expresspost) both ways.

I used to use ABC, but switched when I was informed they had discontinued film processing when the business changed hands. Apparently that wasn't the case, or they've since resumed film service.

Could you give us some contact info about these people? I'm unfamiliar with "The Lab". They sound like they're providing good, prompt service of the type that ABC used to provide.
