Looking through my library of photography, I have come across several
things picked up in the past year or so which I thought might
interest some of you - in case you haven't seen these already. They
are mostly expensive books, and now available only used, but if you
get a chance to browse through some of them at a library or
elsewhere, you might enjoy them:

Robert Bourdeau. The Station Point. Stephen Bulger Gallery, Toronto;
2011.

Robert Bourdeau. The Photographs of Robert Bourdeau. National Film
Board of Canada/Mintmark Press, Toronto, 1979.

Yuri Dojc. Marble Woman. Willowdale ON: Firefly Press, 1993.

Lilly Koltun, & Guy Tessier. eds. Le Coeur au métier; la photographie
amateur au Canada (Amateur photography in Canada from 1839 to 1940.
Ottawa: Archives publiques Canada, 1985.
This is a book of reproductions with some French text, and it has a
surprising and fascinating variety of work in it!

Theresa Kazmierczak-Stubler. Trails of Light. Toronto: Penguin Books
hardcover, 1992.
A photographic folio on the Niagara escarpment and trail. Might
inspire some of you to do something similar on your own favourite
local regions.

I hope the cold weather hasn't killed off all the photographers in
Victoria and south VI?
