looking to buy a decent first real lathe

Hello everyone! 

I\m trying to find a good starter lathe. I've mostly been using watchmakers lathes, but I'm ready to step up to a larger benchtop machine

Does anyone know if there is anything available around town? 

My budget is 1500 and that's a stretch as I live on a limited disability income.

If anyone has any info or advice at all I'd be very thankful/

If you are interested in a Milford, I know someone in Vancouver that has one for $1200.
