I'm looking for uses for all these extra treadmill parts I've got, so I thought I'd try and see if the conveyor belt can be used for way covers. The stuff I've got is flexible, yet rigid enough to be vacuumed and you can give it a permanent crease if you heat it up. Perhaps that means accordion style covers would possible if I can come up with some kind of jig to make consistent folds.

I just finished installing a couple of covers on my mill, but I haven't tried it out yet. If it works out, I might do something similar on my lathes. ...And I have lots to spare so if anyone wants to try a piece, let me know.
