Hey everyone, thanks for accepting my request Mat. I'm a newbie to the machining world after living primarily in the woodworking world. After extensive searching I bought a mint 1973 South Bend 10K lathe in Vancouver. Really happy with it. In February I bought an equally mint Long Chang Mill Drill. I've since added a DRO and 3-phase motor to the mill. I also a compact metal bender and MIG and TIG welders though I suck at TIG. My main reason for having these tools is to fix things that come through the door though I keep the door locked ;-) (Props if you recognize that line...) Actually I am restoring a 1988 Honda NT650 which needs parts that are no longer available. So chips will fly! I'm pretty active on Hobby-Machinist and Canadian Metal Workers under the user name DavidR8 Happy to finally 'meet' other local folks! Cheers, David

Thanks Mat, I probably over-stated the resto part. I probably should have said."I have a Honda NT650 that's awaiting restoration, as soon as i put my shop back together and finish the YZ125 that's currently on the lift..." :)

Oh, hi there Dave. We've touched base on Facebook a few weeks ago. Good to see you here.
I also have an old NT650 "awaiting restoration" :)
Cheers,
Alex.
PS: Tried to respond by email, but it was rejected. Is that setup that way on purpose?
