Hello all,

This is to let you know about our latest release: VictoriaMetrics v1.79 and some of its new features!

These are the main Feature Highlights:

vmagent: New azure_sd_configs service discovery mechanism for discovering Virtual Machines at Azure Cloud. See this issue.
VictoriaMetrics Cluster: Support for querying lower-level vmselect nodes from upper-level vmselect nodes. This makes it possible to build multi-level cluster setups for global querying view and HA purposes without the need to use Promxy. See these docs and this issue.
vmui: Created a new UI for query tracing, which can be enabled by clicking the trace query checkbox and re-running the query. See this feature request.
VictoriaMetrics Cluster: improved query performance when replication is enabled.
We’re now publishing binaries for FreeBSD and OpenBSD at the releases page.
