An experiment to get to the group going again

It's been a handful of years since this group has been active, which can mostly be attributed to the members that made up the core moving away from Victoria (if you all still follow this list, we miss you). I'm not even sure if the administrator of this list lives here any longer (or who actually does own it!). Anyway, if there's anyone out there that's still interested in doing something once in a while, let's talk! A long time ago we had the idea of making a little website for the group. I've gone ahead and started one, vicruby.org (there's nothing there at the moment -- github.com/matharvard/vicruby). I'm finishing up a course in a few weeks, after which I'll hopefully have a few moments here and there to get something up. So my experiment over the summer holidays is to see if I can help jump start this group back up. If it fails... at least it'll have been fun?

I finally got something up on vicruby.org. July ended up being a busy month, so it took a while. I'm not sure what the best form of communication is for people moving forward. We of course have this group. Another option is a Slack channel, which seems to be fairly popular these days. So please, for anyone interested, please chime in! I'm hoping we can get a small handful of people on board, and slowly get something going :)
