I have been having lots of fun with cucumber (http://github.com/
aslakhellesoy/cucumber/tree/master) recently. If anyone is interested
I'd be happy to put together a presentation about it for our next
(long overdue) meeting.

Anyone interested?

I'm interested, definitely need to learn more about testing. No
matter what crazy implementation it is, I'm sure I can learn something
from it.

Yes I agree it's time to get together again. I'm traveling for the
rest of the month but can do a meeting in December.

I have put my presentation together. It is a brief over view of what
cucumeber is/does, and then a *live* demo of how I use it for TDD (in
17 simple steps).

What do you think in terms of date and location? Do you think we can
fit it in before Christmas? Somewhere with a projector would be
*nice*, but if there aren't many people we can crowd around my laptop.

Cheers,

Paul

I don't have a suggestion on where we could do it with a projector. We
did have a projector at UVic one time but not sure if we still have a
connection there. I'm good for sometime in December and yes before
Christmas would be great.

I had a few people ask me to email this to them, so I figured I might
as well post it online. Here is the repo for the presenation:
http://github.com/thoughtless/cuc_demo/tree/master

It is all there, including the slides. The only thing that's missing
is me talking :)
I'd still love to do the presentation though.

I suggest we get together on Wednesday Dec 10th. I still don't know
about the location. It might be fun if we could talk about a project
that we might want to work on as a group--that might help us make our
meetings more regular.

Cheers,
Paul
