Playback Controls Disabled in ViconNet Archive Player

I have a DVD containing two videos and the ViconNet Archive Player.

The player controls at the bottom of the ViconNet Archive Player are always greyed out (see attached file).

I'm struggling to get either of these videos to play. Is there a likely dependency that I don't have installed somewhere?

Anyone have any suggestions I can try to get those player controls activated after selecting a video?
