Are you testing this in the Designer? Doing this can leave windows open instead of closing them and confuse the situation. You are better to create 2 windows with buttons to swap from one to the other and test them in a client, looking at the console in the diagnostics window (open this with Help / Diagnostics or Ctrl+Shift-F7).

I put print statements in all the internalFrame and visionWindow events. When I first opened the window the following events fired:visionWindowOpenedinternalFrameOpenedinternalFrameActivatedWhen I closed the window these events fired:internalFrameDeactivatedinternalFrameClosingvisionWindowClosedinternalFrameClosedWhen I opened the window a second time these events fired:visionWindowOpenedinternalFrameActivatedWhen I closed the window a second time these events fired:internalFrameDeactivatedinternalFrameClosingvisionWindowClosedinternalFrameClosedThe only difference is that internalFrameOpened only fires the first time, maybe because the window is being cached.

I have spun up a Windows Server Datacenter 2019 image on Azure. When I go to the Activation screen in Settings, it shows that Windows is not activated. How do I activate Windows? Do I need to buy a server license?

There is another known issue were setting the Azure hosted VM to any time zone other than UTC+00 will cause the Settings app to show the VM as not being activated, but if you run the activation command via sconfig the VM is activated fine, the GUI will persist that the VM is not activated however.

have you ever installed the ISO from the evaluation center? then you know that it is pre-pidded (eg: is has a product key factory installed that can be activated for an unlimited amount of times but it only activated windows for 90 days and then the installation is expired

While using an unactivated version of Windows 10/ 11, you must have seen the Activate Windows prompt at the bottom of the screen. Microsoft uses Windows Activation to prevent software privacy by ensuring that you are using a genuine Windows copy.

Windows Activation makes sure that a particular copy is not running on multiple systems. Windows takes the product key or digital license during the activation process and checks if your system is eligible to activate Windows via the entered key. Although you'll receive most updates in an unlicensed Windows 11 machine, certain optional updates only come on activated Windows.

There are two types of Windows Activation--Enterprise and Consumer level. Enterprise-level or Volume Licensing means when you get a pre-activated Windows copy from the OEM itself. If Windows is activated using KMS or MAK keys, it also comes under Volume Licensing. On the other hand, Consumer level Windows Activation means purchasing the activation key from Microsoft Store or any authorized outlet. It is mainly used for personal usage.

When you install Windows on your system, you will be prompted to enter the product key and activate the copy. Upon entering the product key, Microsoft will check whether it is a genuine Windows copy or not. If yes, Windows will be successfully activated on your system, and you will be able to enjoy all the latest features. In contrast, the activation process will fail on entering a non-genuine/ pirated key. The same situation will also occur if the product key has already been used.

If Windows has been activated using the OEM Activation feature, you'll not have to go through the activation process again. The OEM Activation feature is pretty simple; your system manufacturer enters the digital product key into the BIOS. Then, when you boot your system for the first time, Windows activates automatically using the internet.

It's recommended to use a genuine copy of Windows on your system. But what if you don't want to go through the activation process? In the latest Windows versions, i.e., Windows 11 and 10, there won't be any major difference between an activated and non-activated Windows. But in the previous version, i.e., Windows 7, there was a grace period of about 30 days. Once the grace period is over, things become a bit screwy. You'll get a pop-up every hour to activate Windows.

If you want to check whether your Windows 10 computer is activated or not, you can press Windows + R keys on the keyboard to open Run box, type slmgr.vbs -xpr in Run box and hit Enter.

Perovskite-based thermochromic smart windows that can change color have attracted much interest. However, the high transition temperature (>45 C in air) hinders their practical application. Herein, a near-infrared (NIR) activated thermochromic perovskite window that enables reversible transition cycles at room temperature is proposed. Under natural sunlight (>700 W m-2 ), it efficiently harvests 78% NIR light to trigger the thermochromism of perovskites, blocking the heat gain from both the visible and NIR light. Meanwhile, it also exhibits a low mid-infrared emissivity of

Want to find out if the version of Microsoft Windows on your PC is legit? And, as for how to know it, this text specifically sums up three methods on how to check if Windows 8 is activated.

Are you looking for information other than removing or disabling the watermark without a Windows 10 product key purchase? The next section of this article is aimed towards people who have or want to have a genuine, activated Windows 10 and remove the watermark with a product key or digital license.

Microsoft lets anybody download and install Windows 10 for free with no need for a product key or digital license. At the time of writing, the difference between an activated system and a non-activated instance is only some cosmetic restrictions. This will stay like that for the foreseeable future.

ExcludeTitle and ExcludeText can be used to exclude one or more windows by their title or text. Their specification is similar to WinTitle and WinText, except that ExcludeTitle does not recognize any criteria other than the window title.

Window titles and text are case-sensitive. By default, hidden windows are not detected and hidden text elements are detected, unless changed with DetectHiddenWindows and DetectHiddenText. By default, a window title must start with the specified WinTitle or ExcludeTitle to be a match, unless changed with SetTitleMatchMode.

If the window is minimized and inactive, it is automatically restored prior to being activated. [v1.1.20+]: If WinTitle is the letter "A" and the other parameters are omitted, the active window is restored. [v1.1.28.02+]: The window is restored even if it was already active.

In general, if more than one window matches, the topmost matching window (typically the one most recently used) will be activated. If the window is already active, it will be kept active rather than activating any other matching window beneath it. However, if the active window is moved to the bottom of the stack with WinSet Bottom, some other window may be activated even if the active window is a match.

When a window is activated immediately after the activation of some other window, task bar buttons might start flashing on some systems (depending on OS and settings). To prevent this, use #WinActivateForce.

Having a legal, activated copy of Windows 11 ensures that you can use all the features on your PC, such as customizing appearance settings. If you're not sure if your copy is activated, it's easy to find out. Here's how.

Before you can use NVivo, it must be activated. Activation registers individual NVivo installations against licenses (or 'seats', for enterprise customers) that have been assigned from within the myNVivo portal. Assign or unassign licenses or subscriptions

To recognize windows and controls, TestComplete uses a number of properties that identify the object among its siblings. If the values of identification properties are no longer valid, or they do not provide unique recognition, TestComplete may select a wrong object that matches the current values of identification properties. In this case, all the actions that must be performed over the object, will be performed over the wrong object, which may cause an error.

When a virtual environment has been activated, the VIRTUAL_ENVenvironment variable is set to the path of the environment.Since explicitly activating a virtual environment is not required to use it,VIRTUAL_ENV cannot be relied upon to determinewhether a virtual environment is being used.
