We develop enterprise marine software. Our products are implemented across North America - from Alaska and Hawaii, to New Orleans and New York. We specialize in data driven desktop and web based applications related to the international tug boat, barge and maritime industries. And baby, we’re growing! We are seeking a highly motivated, personable Jr. Software Developer to join our team-based company.

Position Profile
Your Responsibilities & Key Tasks:
• Designing, building, and maintaining desktop and web based applications in .Net (including WPF), SQL and legacy systems.
• Database development work relating to data modeling and stored procedure construction.
• Designing and building formatted end user reports.
• Working to strict schedules and project milestones while maintaining product quality.
• Consulting with and answering technical questions from professional staff.
• Working under the supervision of senior staff with considerable latitude for independent judgment.
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Software Development.
• Previous software development experience and/or demonstrated skills in working with the following languages/applications: VB.Net, VB6.0, ASP, ASP.Net, SQL Server, Crystal Reports and Legacy Systems.
• Aptitude for practical problem solving and proven ability to successfully meet deadlines.
• Ability to work on or manage multiple tasks at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strict attention to detail to ensure a high degree of quality assurance and quality control.
• Personable, friendly, team-oriented attitude.
