A "Test Drive" Means
1. to drive (a motor vehicle) under actual operating conditions for
the purpose of evaluation, as before a purchase
2. to test the performance of under actual operating condition.
Now a days many companies are giving test drive offer to their
prospective customers. First of all the offer itself drags the
customer to the companies sales office If the customer is satisfied
by the performance of the car he buys the car himself. and secondly he
tells his colleages and other persons who are in contact with him
about the good performance of the car. So Giving test drive offer
benefits the car company in two ways it increases the sales, it works
as a market promotion tool. At Present Ford Company gives test drive
offer on "Ford Classic" and "Ford Figo" car models.
