Guylene..
I have gone thru my head what I have used to heal and for relief
since January and here goes.
Compression fracture is common relative people with osteoarthritis.
If you did not get this from an accident or trauma, then I would say that
osteoporosis has caused a thinning of the bone. Need to correct this in a
natural manner, as if other fractures occur in back, can cause curvature. You
may have noticed you feel shorter in height. . The worse scenerio would be if
the pain is severe and you let them do what is called vertobroplasty Procedure.
Injections are just band aids they are not curing anything. So, glad to hear
both those are not an option for you. I commend you for your strong will.
I know how difficult and challenging
it can become.
Guylene, I believe what we have here is a compression fracture of the
vertebra , which has made the bone
tissue in vertebra collapse. More than one vertebrae may be involved,
but I am sure the chiropractor would know that from X-ray. As far as nerve
problems with the compression fracture, not usual because the nerves
are behind the vertebra, and most of the time, the front of the vertebra is
compressed and back will be fine.
I have seen nerve damage fractures caused by trauma, called burst
fractures. But you are using nerve
herbs so that will heal just in case. Good way to go.
All your suggestions are right on the money. If I repeat anything you
mention, please forgive me, as I
am at work and trying to write this.I alternated the herbs I took,
as I would find if one did not work, would add to
it, or try something else. I am still doing it 11 months later. Many
things I mention did not work at first, went back a month later and they worked.
Being aggressive seems to be the key.
drink comfrey tea and poultices( alternating with BFC) as that aids
healing.
BFC Fomentations
Ice is fantastic. That has kept me going with my cervical osteoarthritis in
neck and DDD. I sometimes sleep with an icepack, just to have some pain
relief.
I use the BFC with cayenne over it and at times, I take a cotton ball and
put DMSO on top of those two very
lightly. Keeps me from taking pain pills. Be careful with the DMSO
as it is strong, use lightly. I just dab it
over the two ointments to drive them in.
Mullein for swelling . I have added to that St. John's Wort and
Jamaican Dogwood , when I could get it. I like to use the Mullein Root, others
disagree and use leaves.
I cannot take the Herbal Calcium, but I do take a whole foods calcium,
twice a day and that seems to be
working well and take infusions to heal. Have added to that Vitamin
D for calcium absorption.
I found body awareness is so important. A herbalist told me years
ago, if we silence pain, cannot hear it's wisdom, so be aware of it, and deal
with it accordingly.
Soloman's Seal for Pain, mixed with Mullein Root, Horsetail
Infusion , horsetail combined with oatstraw (Infusions, I infuse all night
long, then drink the following day,
all day long. If too strong, infuse for less time at beginning and
then add as you go on.
Horsetail extract due to the properties of silica utilizes calcium and
helps not only promote healing but repairs.
If you recalled when I fractured my foot in two places and would not have
the surgery, I would do
visualization to have my bones knit back together again, good to visualize
your situation back to normal.
Good to remember, if one thing does not work, try another. For the longest
time BFC would make me
worse. It did not matter whether I tried it in ointments,
fomentations, etc. Could not take it externally or
internally, but after about 4 months, started it again and it started to
work. I took internally, externally in form
of ointment during day and fomentation at night.
Sweet bitters for stiffness if you have that symptom is great. I took
3 x a day. Never drank the whole cup, took about a tablespoon each time.. Also
used sweet bitters applied as compress on painful area, alternating with
comfrey. I found this very soothing.
Used St. John's Wort for Nerves, took orally as a tea and used oil from
time to time on p ainful areas.
For pain, Bosweilla , make into capsules, Valerian Nerve, Valerian,
Skullcap, I used the Valerian nerve
in tincture form, as I did the Nerve Formula, but also, rubbed in
painful area and all way down my spine. That is a job when doing it on
your own, but can be done.
tea from lobelia, skullcap, valerian root from time to time.
Whole garlic clove( large) three times a day . Take in applesauce,
sprinkled with clove to prevent the smell
of garlic breath.
Cayenne, 1 tsp. three times a day.
Immunicalm
Relax-Eze
ACV, Mullein, lobelia herb , on occasion.
ACV with Hydrangea root, breaks up any calcifications if they are there.
ACV with honey
Green drinks
That is about all I can think of right now, Guylene. If any questions,
please feel free to ask. Just take your time, pray, and you will heal yourself,
I am sure of it. Many of the above remedies I used may not fit into your
situation, but sometimes hearing something, gives one an idea. Take
care of yourself, and please
update us after seeing the chiropractor. You are in my thoughts and
prayers
