Guylene..
Along with the Herbal Calcium, I would try swishing
many times a day with abundance of own saliva. Teeth are made of
calcium and phospate, essentially. The PH level of saliva depends on the
mineral content of food, medications, stress and emotions, etc. If I
recall I used a product
called Energize for Life PH strips, but I can't recall. I
believe quality of saliva is exceedingly important as it is what brings
the nutrition to the teeth.
When you bathe your teeth in saliva, it must be around 7. This is
needed for teeth to remineralize. If you have acidic saliva it does the opposite
and demineralizes.
So many factors here, for example stress will create
acids and I would think meditation would be good for this, but only guessing
here.
I tried to have my husband do the above, as he was a cigar smoker,
yuck to that, for sure, but he is not diligent at all. He only comes to me, when
he has an immediate problem, then becomes real lazy at times, not always, but in
this instance he did. I am always after him, as two years ago he had $4000
worth of dental work. Today he asked me for help on an area in trouble by
his bridge work. He took what I gave him to work, so I guess maybe he is coming
around.
I also believe by using water of highest qualtiy would be a good
way to guarantee a good flow of saliva.
There is a product I had purchased for my husband, where he
was not doing what I suggested on his own, called Uncle Harry's or Uncle
Henry's, (not sure) powder. This was a remineralization
powder that increased production of saliva, and I believe
neutralized acids in food . It also healed
sensitive teeth, which was another of my husband's problems and
built up thinning enamel surface . My husband never used this, so can't say
one way or the other if it is worthwhile. It was highly recommended to me by a
Naturopath friend who said had great success with it on many clients. I
can't recall where I purchased this product.
May want to look into blood and lymph circulations in teeth.
That is about all I have in my notes, as while trying to
remineralize my hubby's teeth,I did lots of research on
this.
Hope this helps some.
Blessings
