Can't Stream Live TV3

Hi folk,
Unfortunately I can't live stream TV3 and I'm in the ROI!
I get a message on their site:

Apologies, due to international licenses and online rights restrictions we are unable to stream this programme.

I'm told by a friend that as I'm using 3 broadband the system some how thinks that I'm not in Ireland!
Can anyone cast any light on this topic and how can I resolve this matter easily if possible.
It's daft to think that as I'm in Ireland I can't live stream an Irish station!

Tony just had a try at Vincent Browne and he did play after I had to allow Flash player to work after hitting a button on the player  screen and then hitting another on the page itself.

As you know i use Firefox but it may be IE is not allowing Flash as we discussed recently.

But you have checked your location today I hope LOL

If you had moved to Florida would not have blamed you at all.

Tony just tried the live stream and it opened immediately.

So Greece is the word!!

Having gone back to see what program was on got the same message you have been getting.

Did get what looked like a soap the first time but can not find what is on now.

The program must be the issue here, they can't afford to pay the streaming bill. Smile

Well hope no one outside this 'beautiful' country of ours is reading as it's definitely an Irish joke!
Interesting though that it is not now just a 3 thing as you experience almost same issue.
I'll mention this problem too to my contact there and see can he exert any influence, sttrange though

The error message iis just the machine – without human intervention - not understanding what it’s saying. I’m afraid the computer world is replete with such gibberish. They talk about artificial intelligence? Perhaps they ought to start talking about artificial stupidity, because that’s what machines often generate when left alone, and what we will end up getting if we leave all the work to computers!

 

OK. I can’t get the live stream either, and haven’t been able to, for some considerable time. What I do see is an ‘mp4’ button if I use the JAWS pass-hrough keystroke (insert+3) followed by enter, while in the Flash. But it’s then just a repeat of the list of recorded videos of programmes which one can watch.

Watching Judge Judy now with very poor audio after allowing Flash to open again.

Strange indeed that I can open it here behind the Berlin Wall and it wont open for you.

Well there may be some good news now as I tried again and this time I got a couple of unlabelled buttons so I hit (7) and I have the 5:30 streaming live now.
I go back now to 'The Chase' elsewhere.
A good keystroke to remember LOL, jaws key and three for pass through possibly

I got it now, ads and signposting as I type. http//tv3.ie/live >. Now resuming Xposé.
