"THE 1% CLUB EXTENDS WINNING STREAK WITH A NEW THREE-YEAR ITV DEAL
Published Tue 12 May 2026

Multi award-winning Saturday night sensation to continue for another three years with more specials, more rollovers and, of course, more Lee Mack

ITV today announces a new landmark three-year deal for The 1% Club. A truly global hit, The 1% Club remains the biggest original quiz show in more than a decade. It regularly exceeds 5 million viewers an episode and since launching three years ago, it has been streamed over 60 million times and reached over 43 million viewers.

The show has become a defining fixture of ITV’s Saturday night schedule, winning audiences with its unique mix of comedy, logic and family-friendly play along appeal. The 1% Club has also enjoyed major international success, establishing itself as one of the best-selling original British entertainment formats of recent years.

The 1% Club has won a host of awards including: three times back-to-back winner of the National TV Award for Best Quiz Show, back-to-back winner of the Broadcast Award for Best Entertainment and a Rose d’Or for Best Entertainment Show. Lee is also twice nominated for a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance.

The 1% Club host, Lee Mack says: "I'm delighted that ITV have given us three more series to discover Great British clever clogs. I just told my family how old I would be when these three series are over, but apparently I got it wrong. Which shows you how well I'd do as a contestant.”

ITV’s Director of Factual Entertainment, Sue Murphy, said: “We’re thrilled to be renewing The 1% Club for a further three years. The show has become a huge hit with viewers of all ages. With Lee at the helm as always, we can’t wait to bring more series and specials to the viewers. It’s a brilliant entertainment show with a unique format that viewers love to play along with at home, and its broad appeal makes it a hugely valuable part of our slate on ITV.”

Executive Producers and creators of The 1% Club, Dean Nabarro and Andy Auerbach, said: “It’s a wonderful vote of confidence that ITV have commissioned three more years of the show and we’re delighted that so many more people will now get the chance to join The 1% Club.”

ITV will commission further series and specials of The 1% Club over the next three years, alongside the return of The 1% Club Rollover later this year and The 1% Club Kids Special, due to air later this month.

The enduring popularity of The 1% Club has made it one of ITV’s standout entertainment brands, attracting millions of viewers and broad demographic appeal across both broadcast and streaming.

The series is commissioned for ITV by Director of Factual Entertainment, Sue Murphy.

The 1% Club was created by Dean Nabarro and Andy Auerbach, and is a Magnum Media production for ITV.

That is fantastic. I love this show. It is quite visual but if you can get it with audio description at least 70 or 80 percent of the questions are accessible. Also lee Mac is very funny. Love emma

Well I think ours comes on automatically if it is there but we do have a smart tv. I don’t get near it. I drive my Mac and mum drives the telly. I’ve been in the hospital for 5 days. I started on Saturday with what I thought was a urine infection. No such luck. I’ve got a stone in my kidneys and I had a tour of wale’s hospitals, 3 in ten hours. I came back home on Thursday and I had to have some blood work done on Monday for a zoom medical call I’m having next week and my kidney function is though the floor so I’ve got to get it rechecked tomorrow. I can’t take the Mac with me if I have to go back as they make you sign something that if you loose valuables they aren’t liable. I did take my orbit but not the Mac. Love emma

Hi Emma. That certainly sounds painful I hope things work out well for you.
My telly is a bit of a nuisance as I set the audio description to come on but every time I start the television again it has reverted to the original non ad sounds settings.
That's what the Irish terrestrial channels but when I turn on the Sky q box I have the audio description permanently sat there so I'm not too bothered about the telly.
I'm not too sure if Virgin media who broadcast that show in Ireland provide the audio description but at least I will know to go to the Sky version to find out if they do if not I can receive ITV on the added channels on the Sky q box but that's a bit of nuisance to access those channels.
Take care and I hope you're feeling a lot better very soon.

Well I don’t try outs. That is mum’s job and last night itv here wouldn’t play ball. Still I think my mega sister took off her medical hat and mended the telly. Love emma

It wasn’t as painful as some other people as I have an illness that doesn’t concentrate my urine properly. Love emma

Keep up the spirit, Emma.

Never had them, but from a description a friend gave me of how those stones can make you feel when you p, I wouldn't like to have them around.

Do you have a sister or a relative named Alison May? (On a number of these lists.)

Flor.

I just caught the end of the 1% club last night on Virgin media too using the sky cube box and although I got the bleep to tell me a d should be available with this program I didn't hear any audio description during the portion of the show I listen to so we'll check it out again maybe on a full episode but it looks as if it isn't available on the Irish version of the show.

Well it was certainly a shame for the contestant as he lost ten thousand on a gamble but I will certainly check it out again and see if I'm wrong hopefully I am about the audio description thanks Emma.
